The Ultimate Kimchi Jjigae Guide:

Ingredients

  • 1 tin Miss Kim Vegan Kimchi
  • 1 cup stock (we used chicken broth, use whatever you have!)
  • 200g firm tofu, cubed
  • 1 spring onion, finely chopped
  • Gochugaru (optional)
  • Sesame seeds (optional)
  • Salt (to taste)

Recipe
1.⁠ ⁠Heat your pot over medium heat, and stir-fry Miss Kim Vegan Kimchi for a minute.
2.⁠ ⁠⁠Add a cup of whatever stock you have!
3.⁠ ⁠⁠Add gochugaru if you have it - we like our kimchi jjigae with a little kick!
4.⁠ ⁠⁠Cover and let simmer for a few minutes
5.⁠ ⁠⁠Give your soup a mix and taste. If it needs salt, add some sea salt to taste and give another mix
6.⁠ ⁠⁠Add 200g of firm tofu and one spring onion, cover and cook for another 5 mins
7.⁠ ⁠⁠Take the lid off, sprinkle with some more gochugaru and/or sesame seeds and voila! A delicious kimchi jjigae for 2 ☺️
